SlugGenius began as a simple weekend project in 2020. As a content creator and developer, our founder Joshua struggled with finding accessible, user-friendly tools for text analysis and SEO optimization. Existing solutions were either too complex, too expensive.
What started as a basic character counter quickly evolved into a comprehensive suite of tools as we discovered more needs within the creative community. Writers needed better word analysis, marketers required SEO optimization tools, and developers sought code-friendly text utilities.
